Omg what a cute place to get a bite to eat Yummy the bugar is amazing trust me
Very eclectic European restaurant. I've been for both brunch and the apres ski fondue night in the back room. I actually prefer the brunch. Generally, good prices for SOHO and good food, too.
Great aesthetic. Great food. Great vibe.
Great food and lovely people!
Cute and cozy place... nice staff and service was great and friendly... trendy and satisfying food... a bit on the loud side but a fun chill spot for friends to meet or catch up on with food and drinks... nice Brunch menu with Oysters and small bites... Coffee and Chicken #snitzel, Smoked Salmon...
The menu had the right mix of food on offer. Our table had three different meals and each was cooked to perfection. Nice range of international wines and good service. The place was a lit bit loud but still great atmosphere. Well worth the visit.
It's a fun experience. Have a good time during the Shakira&JLo half time show.
do it, come inside. the staff will love you and you will eat great food. you will experience great vibes. you will be transcended. accept your fate.
This place is amazing! Great staff and great food!!!!
My favorite Swiss restaurant in New York. There is a secret back room with only a few tables and a bar. During the winter months the back room turns into a fondue room. Try to get a reservation there if you can. The fondue is really good, but I can also recommend the zucchini chips served with a killer feta dip. For breakfast, their Bircher muesli topped with berries and fresh fruit is amazing. Remember to bring enough cash (it’s cash only).
We had breakfast here. The food was good buy a tattoo expensive
Average. Fondue is ok but not $30/person ok. Crowd very pretentious and a lot of out of towners.
Cozy place with good breakfast options and nice chill environment. The cafe has vintage design and the food is great! Nice cafe to pass by.
loved this cozy place! Had a light breakfast there early in the morning. The waitress was very friendly and view was amazing!
Great place and people! Staff is super friendly and welcoming! Had stake and eggs for brunch it was delicious!
5 stars for the ambiance and great drinks... didn't eat! But an awesome little place in the heart of Soho!!
Lovely chic joint. Nice for resting your tired feet after a long walk through SoHo and enjoying a few glasses of red in a warm bistro setting. Did not expect the conscious reggae in the background but it was tres cool.
This cafe is a nice place to pop into for lunch if you’re out in Soho. The service is friendly and the food is consistently good. My mom and I shared two sandwiches, the turkey and the mozzarella & prosciutto. Both were delicious in their own way. Our only gripe was the insanely high price for iced tea, $4 for a tiny glass mostly filled of ice... and they charge for each refill. That felt like we were getting ripped off and left us annoyed. Other than that, a great lunch.
Too expensive for raclette and it's not what I expected, I expected a sack of potatoes and lots of cheese and cornichons and some saucisson (the Swiss / French way) and they give you only one tiny potato and a slice of cheese and two cornichons... C'mon am I going to eat this without meat, cornichons or at least a bigger potato? Wasn't worth it for 29 usd. Also they gave us the smallest table for three people.
Fun time for after dinner drinks!
Amazing food, fast service (cheers to JC) and lovely atmosphere overall. One of the best late Saturday night dining out places that I have been to.
Food and drinks were fantastic. Service could have been more attentive.
My only complaints, is that their cold hot chocolate is basically what you'd expect from a diner, and their lobster BLT didnt need that third layer of bread. Other than that, great! Atmosphere was fantastic, and the fairy lights were so cute. Music was low enough you could have a conversation.
A great Sunday Funday spot with the Best Espresso Martini's
Nice little cafe to stop for lunch or a coffee. They have a small area outside to eat, like 3 tables. The interior is decorated so nicely, with touches of Swiss culture. I ordered the Caprese Sandwich (with prosciutto $3extra) with chips on the side.Portions were good, not too small ! Lovely place :)
We were here for brunch late morning. I enjoyed the Hugo cocktail which was refreshing. The brunch burrata is served on a hash brown pancake of some kind which was nice. The music mix was fun and unique. The service was not terrible and friendly.
WE LOVE YOU TOM 🍊🕺🏽🦊
The best Homemade Granola I've ever had!(in such a beautiful and charming place)
This is such a dope little spot. It’s one of the closest experiences I’ve had to a genuine European cafe. The food is fantastic and the inside is cute as hell. I’ve had to wait at the bar a few times and the bartenders are always really great and make some wonderful cocktails.
Loved this place! Great food, cozy place and nice staff! I visited Cafe Select twice during my 7 day stay in NY because of its nice atmosphere. Recommended!
I came here but the service was a little bit rude, I just ask for one beer and they look me like if I have to buy more, the place is good. Better than you spect from the outside not coming back.
Cafe select is more like cafe select few since there are such few options. Also, apparently a salad is a bowl of vegetables with a block of cheese on top. I’m giving this place 2 stars for the ambiance. The food is ridiculous and overpriced. If I wanted a bowl of vegetables I’d make it at home. I’m leaving hungry and shocked. Not a single piece of lettuce In the salad.
Service was good, food was good but nothing to write home about. We actually accidentally ate here thinking it was BoCaPhe but upon sitting down and looking at the menu realized we were a restaurant away but figured we might as well stay and try it. Brunch is decent but nothing special. A little overpriced if I think about it for what you get.
Great place. Delicious fondue. Good wine
Stumbled upon this place, the food was very delicious ! Fondue was very authenic. I enjoyed this place and will come back!
Very good ! We had a super nice evening enjoying a nice fondue, in a great atmosphere ! Marta, our waitress, she was super nice and professional! Thank you so much for everything! We will come back soon!
Love the setting inside - very vintage and chill vibe for breakfast perfect. Staff very fast and polite and prices are totaly ok for Soho area. Recommending to go :)
Cool little bistro. Not a bad sized place and at lunch it wasn’t too busy. The exterior didn’t give a clue to the meat interior. Food was pretty good, slightly towards the pricey side for what you got. I went with a croque monsieur. The bread was the standout. The sandwich itself tasted good, but it really skipped on the ham and cheese filling. There was also a bechamel sauce, but the odd part was it wasn’t warm/saucy. It was kind of cooled and spread over the top of the sandwich like butter. (See in the pic) With only a side of potato chips, it was a little pricey for what you got.
Good food, good service, cute place.
One of my go to spots for a bite or coffee in nolita. Good crew and great people watching when it’s nice out.
terrible service, the waiter was rude and we had to wait too long for the food.the menu has nothing to do with what they charge you
Beautiful lighting and great service. Lovely atmosphere
great bar and restaurant in the east of Soho. they have great sandwiches, fancy cocktails and the atmosphere is really vibrant and hip. it really reminds me the old days of nyc. I went there with my sister and she also loved it
They had the food and ambience in harmony. Delicious and laidback.
extemely overpriced for what it was, food was meh, service was terrible
Small, intimate, delicious. Great ‘apres ski’ lodge bar in the back only open Friday and Saturday. (Maybe more?) tiny private dining room in the back quadrant. Great heated sidewalk seats. This is a quality Swiss inspired spot. Not the largest beer selection, but the food is right on point. I will be visiting again for sure! I went twice in my 2 week long trip. Delicious mussels, mushroom pasta, burgers, etc. For dinner. Amazing brunch - look at the photos.
What is there not to love about this hip Swiss-American bistro in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Soho? Breakfast and lunch are served until 5pm, and dinner starts right thereafter. I absolutely love their Swiss-inspired plates such as Rösti with eggs, polenta, or their artichoke appetizer. Their coffees are delightful, the drinks inventive and reminiscent of Swiss flavors. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed before 5pm, but it can get super-busy later in the evening and there might be a wait time unless you have a reservation. Check out their original posters of well-known Swiss designers. The Joe Siffert poster is one of a kind and priceless. There are some other surprising decorative items that are true to Swiss ingenuity. A surprise for the visitor who can discover them! Prices are very reasonable for the super-trendy and touristy Soho neighborhood. I’m so glad that Café Select has a consistently excellent fare.
Great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch
This charming Cafe being packed for lunch, I was directed to the counter, where service provided by the bartender was prompt attentive and very friendly. Service from the kitchen was fast and the food delicious, the wine pretty decent, the espresso correct. Couldn’t have been more satisfied, and shall visit again when in the area.
Great vibe and set-up, nice lighting and music. We ordered the open raclette, the food is great but time needed for a refill plate was sometimes long
